Doctor's bag

Home visits are for conditions where the patient is too ill to go out.  It is the doctor’s decision whether or not you receive a visit.  If a patient is well enough to go out to visit friends, to the shops or hairdressers they are considered fit enough to attend the surgery.  The doctor will generally speak to a patient requesting a visit to ascertain the urgency.
